Watching movies in the Jayco Jpod Sport
Our first trip away we watched a movie on Dave’s iPhone which was placed strategically on his tummy holding it up with his hands. This worked ok but decided that finding a way to attach our iPad Pro ( 12.9 inch) from somewhere inside the Jpod would be a better option. There are lots of ways of attaching an tablet to anything including:
- using velcro to attach the iPad to the ceiling,
- strong plastic command hooks with a iPad case with holes in it
- or a plastic clamp that attaches to something in the caravan.
I was looking for something that did not mark or damage the interior of the Jpod in anyway. So this ruled out using velcro or command hooks. My next problem was that there are plenty of tablet clamps but not that were big or strong enough to handle the heavier, larger iPad Pro ( 12.9 inch). A lot of them were also very expensive. After lots of googling and searching for options and thinking about the best way of doing it I came across a cheap economical clamp that could hold the iPad Pro.

The adjustable arm and base clip firmly clamps to a chair, tablet, desk, wall cabinet, or bed headboard with 1-3″ thickness. We easily attached it to the inside cupboard in the Jayco Jpod Sport. We take the iPad Pro off and fold the arm back in when not in use.

This clamp fits the iPad Pro (12.9 inch ) however as the iPad Pro is quite heavy it would not be suitable for someone wanting to use the iPad anything other than watching a movie. It is perfect for setting up in a caravan for watching a movie.
