For the long weekend in March 2018 we decided we would go to Daylesford however this time in a cabin at the Daylesford Holiday Park. We had so much fun the same long weekend the year before – we decided to go back.
Straight Couple staying in Daylesford with Chillout Festival Goers.
As straight people in Daylesford at the Chillout festival we were definitely the “minority in the minority group”.
We stayed 3 nights in the Daylesford Holiday Park in a cabin. It had everything you needed to be comfortable and a really pretty treed outlook. ( Also excellent quality sheets – fine and very soft) You needed to get a security code to get your car in and out the front gate. It is a bit of a walk into town, so we were glad to be able to get the Chillout bus ( when it came!) in and out at night.
Where is Daylesford?
Daylesford is located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, north-west of Melbourne, Victoria, in Australia. It is under 2 hour’s drive from Melbourne.
