Daylesford Chillout and the The Surly Goat

Missed the Chillout Parade

We got to the Chillout bus stop and waited and waited for the bus to take us into town to see the Chillout Parade however it didn’t come until the Parade was well and truly over. While disappointing there was nothing we could really do other than chat to the other people that were waiting with us. We watched it live on Facebook at the bus stop! ( not quite the same but better than nothing)

The bus had got stuck in the traffic caused by the parade and finally came our way once the parade was over and the traffic had cleared. We got off in town and had a look around at the shops and galleries that were open.

There were a couple of parade stragglers still around and I got this shot of Dave and his new friends.

Bromley&Co is the place to go!

Love going to Bromley&Co gallery and seeing what they have. It is full of interesting paintings and sculptures. Well worth a visit if you are in Daylesford.

Remaining calm waiting for the Chillout Bus

We walked towards the RSL and waited at the Chillout bus stop. After close to an hour of waiting when we spotted the bus coming towards us. We got off at Hepburn Springs and looked for somewhere to have lunch.

Waiting, waiting, in the sun.

The Surly Goat, Hepburn Springs

Where to go for lunch? Sitting on the park bench opposite the Surly Goat Dave checks out Google for recommendations. Luckily good reviews took us to The Surly Goat for lunch. We were not disappointed and had a lovely lunch and was definitely the highlight of the the weekend.

The service and food at The Surly Goat was excellent.
