Leftover Sausages and bread make a yummy toasted sandwich for lunch when you are camping – All Cooked in the Weber® Baby Q™ . ( You can fry up the sandwiches the small fry pan too). Use whatever you have on hand and like in a toasted sandwich – steak, cooked onions, cherry tomatoes, ham, salami or chicken.
Turn on your Weber® Baby Q™ and preheat with the lid shut. Slice the sausages and place on the grill and keep them there for a few minutes or until hot.
Prepare the sandwiches with the hot sausages, cheese, and sauce. Lightly butter one side of the bread and keep this on the outside of the sandwich.
Place the complete sandwiches on the grill. Shut the lid of the Weber.
After a couple of minutes check and turn over to cook the other side. Close the lid of the Weber. Once cooked to your liking on both sides, remove fro the Weber and enjoy your toasted sandwiches!
Ingredients to make Toasted Sandwiches
- Leftover sausages, ( or whatever you have on hand)
- cheese slices
- bbq sauce or tomato sauce
- slices of bread
- butter
How to make Toasted Sandwich
- Turn on your Weber® Baby Q™ and preheat with the lid shut.

- Prepare the sandwiches with the hot sausages, cheese, and sauce. Lightly butter one side of the bread and keep this on the outside of the sandwich.
- Place the complete sandwiches on the grill. Close the lid of the weber.
- After a couple of minutes check and turn over to cook the other side. Close the lid of the weber.
- Once cooked remove from Weber and eat. Enjoy your toasted sandwiches!
