We had a big sleep in and took the dogs for a play in one of the off leash areas before heading off on a drive to the closest off leash beach where dogs are allowed. We left Tarra Valley at around midday and headed off to Woodside beach which is about a 40 minute drive.
Bit Blowy at the beach. Dogs loved it
Its always great to see the dogs running around on the beach. They absolutely love it! It was pretty windy and overcast but mild.
After the walk on the beach we went back to the car park and sat at the picnic tables and ate the sandwiches I had made up with the soft fluffy Yarram Bakery bread.
Yarram for more bottled water
We stopped on the way back to Best Friend Holiday Retreat and bought a pack of bottled water from Woolies. It is the closest supermarket ( 15 minutes drive fromBest Friend Holiday Retreat) and has everything you need. After a bit of a rest we took the dogs for a walk across the road from where we were staying to some falls. The short path to get there was a bit narrow and overgrown. It is a very pretty spot with some small falls and some still water.

Secure fence to keep the rabbits out and the dogs in!
With 6 off leash areas there is plenty of space for dogs to run. Yet another off leash area to explore and the dogs enjoyed their freedom running around and fudge checked all the fence lines.
A wonderful day for the dogs! Woodside beach and running off leash at Best Friend Holiday Retreat created two very tired dogs.
Pulled pork buns with coleslaw for dinner
Very easy dinner tonight. We bought some pulled pork ready to go and some bread rolls from Woolies. All that needed doing was heating it up in a saucepan. Meanwhile I made up some coleslaw and we sat outside on the balcony and ate dinner.
