Its always hard packing up and heading home after having such a great holiday.
We headed off for coffee and breakfast at a nearby cafe and went for a walk up to the rocks for a last peek at the ocean. We ordered an Uber and were soon on our way to Cairns Airport.
Highlights of our stay in Trinity Beach!
Trinity beach was a nice place to visit and now we have done it we would choose to stay longer in Port Douglas. Trinity Beach is a quiet place with far less eating options and things to do than Port Douglas. We love Port Douglas and cant wait to get there again – hopefully sooner rather than later!
Cough, Cough, Cough the Whole Flight – from Cairns to Melbourne
Unfortunately for us there was a very sick man who coughed on and all around us for the entire flight home! The man on the left of Dave (see photo above ) sat next to us and coughed and spluttered the whole trip. Dave did diagnosed with the flu when we got back and suspect that this was the source! It was so annoying – and probably worse for him than us, however couldn’t wait to get away from him as soon as the plane touched down.
Arrived to the typical cold weather of Melbourne and peak hour traffic. Fun Fun Fun!
