Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House is one of the most well known performing art centres in the world.

Located on the edge of Sydney harbour on Bennelong Point, the Sydney Opera House is the most recognisable building in Australia.

The white shell shaped roof are just spectacular and it doesn’t matter if you approach the opera house from land, sea or air, the sight of it is unforgettable.

The Sydney Opera House took 16 years to build and was opened in 1973.  The Danish architect Jorn Utzon designed the Opera House and since it has been built it has been recognised for its wonderful architecture, engineering and construction.

The magnificent glass wall provides spectacular views out across Sydney Harbour from the main foyers.
