San Remo Pelicans and Fish

After a bit of a sleep in we had some breakfast and headed into Cowes to find a voting booth.

With the dogs in the car we took it in turns to go and join the queue to vote in the 2019 federal election. We then headed to San Remo where we could see the pelicans floating in the water.

It was a beautiful sunny day and we watched the Pelicans for a while and then had a bit of a look around to find somewhere to have some lunch.

If you go to San Remo around midday you will see the pelicans get fed by the local San Remo Fishermans Co-op. We were a little bit later than midday and the feeding was over however the pelicans were still there to be seen ( and without the crowds of tourists). We headed across the road to the San Remo Bakehouse and had a couple of yummy pies (chunky and mushroom) for lunch.

We bought some fresh fish and cooked prawns from the San Remo Fishermans Co-op to cook up on the Weber for dinner.

We took the dogs for a walk to the nearby Cowes foreshore beach and watched the sun go down.
