I had seen this picture a few times but missed out on seeing if for real on our first visit to Port Douglas. I asked at the reception of our hotel about how you get to see this scenic view of Port Douglas. To our surprise it was a short steep walk for abled bodies to see the Flagstaff Hill Lookout in Port Douglas. Must see place. It is beautiful. I think if you can walk the experience would be so much better than driving up as there are magnificent views along the way including the Lighthouse.
